CANBERRA'S SECOND NIGHT OF FASHFEST KICKED OFF IN FASHIONABLE STYLE LAST NIGHT, WITH CANBERRA'S MOST DIVINE SOLD OUT CROWD WITNESSING THE EVENT.

WHILE I MISSED OUT ON THE FIRST NIGHT (OH HOW I WISH I SAW ROCKSTARS & ROYALTY), THERE WAS PLENTY TO OFFER (FREE CANDY) ON DAY 2.

JENIFER ANIELA

JENIFER ANIELA'S GORGEOUS COLLECTION FEATURED FLOWING WATERCOLOURS ON HAND DYED SILKS. PLUNGING AND STRAPLESS NECKLINES AS WELL AS ASYMMETRIC RULED THE RUNWAY. I ALSO LOVE THE ALMOST MERMAID SILHOUETTES. I COULD DEFINITELY FEEL A CAVALLI/VERSACE VIBE THAT IS RESORT WORTHY.

SOVATA

SOVATA'S COLLECTION HAD A MODERN BLEND OF BOLD CUTS AND STRONG SHAPES THAT ALSO HAS A OLD SCHOOL RACE WEAR ELEMENT THAT I ADORE. I WAS IN AWE WITH THE ROLLER COASTER SHAPES OF THE MILLINERY TO THE TEALS AND COBOLT BLUES. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME STARLETS WEAR THESE AT THE MELBOURNE CUP.

PUREPOD

I WAS SPEECHLESS WHEN I SAW THE VINTAGE INSPIRED SHAPES WALK DOWN THE RUNWAY FOR PUREPOD. 1940'S SILHOUETTES AND BOLD COLOURS, DENIMS AND SHIRT DRESSES, I WAS IN PURE(POD) FASHION HEAVEN.
I WAS HAVING A HEART STOPPING MOMENT WITH EVERY PIECE ESPECIALLY THE STRIPED HEADPIECE. AND YOU HAVE TO LOVE THE BOLD COLOURS OF THE TIGHTS.

ANDIE MEREDITH

CROPPED JACKETS AND 1930'S SHAPES GIVES A NOSTALGIC FEEL TO ANDIE MEREDITH'S COLECTION. ELEGANT AND MOODY WITH MODERN TEXTURES AND DARK COLOURS THIS COLLECTION WILL LOOK AMAZING IN A FOREST SETTING FOR VOGUE MAGAZINE.

GABRIELLE EVERITT

FROM THE MOMENT I SAW THE PARASOLS, I KNEW I WOULD ADORE GABRIELLE EVERITT'S COLLECTION. GIVING ME A 1930'S HAMPTONS VIBE WITH DIVINE SILK DRESSES AND SOCKS. FEMININE SILHOUETTES AND LIGHT, NEUTRAL COLOURS TAKE MY BREATH AWAY.

SOFIA POLAK

SOFIA POLAK'S EDGY AND ALMOST GOTHIC COLLECTION MADE ME A LITTLE SPEECHLESS. I WAS IN LOVE WITH THE GREEN DRESS FEATURING A SHEER PEPLUM AND BLACK NECKLINE. HER ALMOST BRIDAL (IN A GOOD WAY) WHITE PEPLUM GOWN FEATURING A BLACK BELT WAS ALSO ANOTHER FAVOURITE OF MINE. I ADORE THE FRENCH VIBE AND DECADENT FEEL.
EVENING WEAR AT ITS FINEST.

BAKU

WHEN THE MODELS WALKED OUT ONTO THE FREZZING RUNWAY, I THINK WE ALL BREATHED A SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN THE SWIMWEAR CLAD GIRLS WERE WEARING PUFFY VESTS AND JACKETS FROM MONT. BAKU'S COLLECTION FEATURES A CUTE ARRAY OF FUN COLOURS, PRINTS AND CUTS. I LOVE THE USE OF AZTEC PRINT ON ONE BIKINI AND GORGEOUS STRIPES ON ANOTHER. SOLID ORANGES MADE MY DAY. BRING ON SUMMER.

I LOVE SHOW STOPPERS. AND SJC HAD TWO BIG SHOW STOPPERS. THE FIRST BEING AN AMAZING BLACK LACE GOWN WITH RED TRAIN AND REVEALING FRINT SLIT AND ENDING WITH AN OUT OF THIS WORLD LEATHER AND SILK DRESS THAT GAVE ME A JEAN PAUL GAULTIER VIBE WITH A DASH OF LADY GAGA WITH THE BARE BUM AND REVEALING CUTOUTS. FLOWING DRESSES ARE ALSO FEATURED GIVING ME AN OCEANIC VIBE. STUNNING CANBERRA COUTURE.
