CHANEL - SPRING/SUMMER 2014 | READY-TO-WEAR | PARIS FASHION WEEK

Karl Lagerfeld sent us through a thoroughfare of emotion for Chanel when he took us to the Grand Palais for his Chanel Spring/Summer 2014 Ready-To-Wear collection.

With almost 90 looks from models Cara Delevingne to Miranda Kerr, Karl's colourful imagination took us on a journey with bright tweeds of neon pink, one shouldered knits, frayed hems to concrete coloured denim pieces which had me on the floor.

The bow tie short sleeved sweater and sheer midi skirt took me back to 50s and A Line silhouettes forward to the 60s to oversized masculine blazers gave it that 80s element.

The colour palette towards the end was almost like a paint colour chart.

I mixture of looks that ebbed and flowed perfectly. No editing needed.

I believe I saw a pretty huge smile from Karl when he accepted his applause.
