Giovanna Battaglia worked the stairs at the PRADA Journal - A Literary Contest In Collaboration With Feltrinelli Editore in New York City this week. 

I know poor Kerry Washington and her Prada gingham gown didn't go down too well with the fashion folk (even though I kind of liked it), but Giovanna nailed it in a salmon pink and green gingham Prada Fall 2013 coat that she wore as a very cool frock with the addition of a belt. That's how you wear a coat ladies.

I adore the Alexandre Birman violet pewter sandals with bow accent. The colour adds pop.
