The Label feels like it's been around for years, but I was only introduced to the minimalist label last month at Canberra's premiere fashion event, Fashfest. The simplistic yet complex lines and minimal aesthetic, the collection and runway show blew my mind and everyone else's. That's why I put The Label as my number one Fashfest moment.

Fashfest Special: 4 Nights, 4 Outfits, 1 Elle
It's hard for anyone to get ready. So when Fashfest time comes, working out what to wear is mind bendingly brain wrecking. I try a lay out the plan a couple of weeks in advance, with pics and flatlays and eye rolling looks from my boyfriend. This year (I missed last year), I had help from the beautiful Annette from Canberra label Dissonance.

Fashfest Special: The Greatest Show on Earth
I have a huge secret: To those poor people who missed out on Fashfest 2015, you missed out on the greatest show on earth.
Was it a typical Canberra runway show? Hell no. Is the massive almost 50 metre runway comparable to what you would see at Paris Fashion Week? Hell yes. Have you seen the Governor General, Sir Peter Cosgrove sit front row of a fashion show anywhere else? Nope. So again, did you miss out? Sorry but you did.
