WHAT SHE WORE: Plunging Prada teal silk ball gown with rose print and black trim at the bodice.

VERDICT: I have to admire her bold choices. In this case this amazing piece of fashion does not suit this girl. Such a shame because this gown is fabulous. Brad Goreski, please help this woman find her style.

Lena Dunham! Is that you?

I haven't been exactly kind to 'Girls' star and creator Lena Dunham's fashion takes on the red carpet, but it's because I care. Truly. I find it hard to watch a beautiful girl look horrid. But I am pleasantly surprised.

Attending a political fundraiser in New York, Lena chose a little white Theory dress, which is simple, cute and sexy.

Again girls, pick something to show, and in Lena's case, it's her fab legs. Long sleeves make a statement and keeps the focus on what you need to see. Get it? Sometimes showing too much is not sexy.

Styled with Prada strappy sandals and a slightly dishevelled crop. 

Yay for Lena. Keep it up. She will get better. Just watch. 

Miley Cyrus & Lena Dunham & the Valentino Jumpsuit

Once upon a time there was a beautiful woman. Talented, smart and cool. But her great downfall was her lack of fashion sense.....

I truly think that Lena Dunham is a beautiful woman. Stunning figure, divine skin. But what upsets me (yes it's upsetting) is she can never dress for that gorgeous figure. I am perplexed by it. That might be a slight overreaction, but true though.

So then she chose the Valentino jumpsuit back in January 2013 at the 'Girls' season 2 premiere. Quite forgettable and the fit; quite ghastly and quite frankly hides an amazing body.

Cut to May 2013. Miley Cyrus attended the Maxim Hot 100 in said Valentino Jumpsuit. WOW!!! Now thats how you wear a jumpsuit. Fits in all the right places. Perfection.

So the moral to the story is. If you can't pull it off don't walk out the front door.

I DO ADORE THE DRESS, JUST NOT ON HER. 

I HAVEN'T BEEN A HUGE FAN OF DUNHAM'S RED CARPET CHOICES OF LATE, BUT AT LEAST SHE MADE AN EFFORT WITH A COUTURE BRAND.

BUT I AM OBSESSED WITH HER BLACK SAINT LAURENT T-BAR HEELS.
