Solange Gets Married

I freaking love weddings. I kind of try and get myself invited to everyone's wedding. Obviously, I did not get invited to this one.

Solange and video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson made their love official in New Orleans.

The singer arrived to the ceremony on a white bicycle wearing a Stephane Rolland ivory jumpsuit (straying from a traditional gown) with cape and open back. 

She later changed into a Humberto Leon for Kenzo dress and her man was in Lanvin. 

Looked like a fun wedding.

WHERE: Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience in Dubai, hosted by Vogue Italia editor-in-chief, Franca Sozzani.

WHAT SHE WORE: Christian Siriano Spring 2013 white and grey zig zag woven cropped jacket with an architectural flared sleeve and matching skirt with high slit. Styled with black Saint Laurent sandals.

VERDICT: Solange is a genius at pulling off crazy cuts and prints and this Siriano look is perfect. 

Solange Knowles: All White in 10 Crosby Derek Lam

Singer, Solange Knowles skipped the mixed prints when she visited BET's 106 and Park Studio in New York City on Wednesday.

Opting for an all white ensemble from 10 Crosby Derek Lam Resort 2014 collection featuring blouse and slouchy pants. 

I love the length on the model (see below) but on Solange, someone forgot to tailor. Hemming people, works wonders. But I do love the pop of colour on her lips and manicure.

I think this would of looked amazing if the fit was right.

I would tell you what the shoes are, but I can't see them over the extra long pants.

Even the best of them get it wrong sometimes.

Solange Knowles in Prada!

Solange Knowles joined Cate Blanchett at the New York City premiere of Woody Allen's 'Blue Jasmine' at the Museum of Modern Art .

I have to say I really dig her Prada Spring 2013 ensemble. The mint green looks great on her and the quarter length top and skirt are cute. The floral appliqués are adorable. That's where the love ends. I don't understand the addition of the Prada sandals and bag threw me. I do love the bag, but not with this.

But hey no one's perfect, even Queen Sol.  

Solange Knowles in Clover Canyon!

Solange Knowles performed at the Pitchfork Music Festival at Union Park in Chicago last weekend.

Pattern lover Solange was in fine form in a ensemble from Clover Canyon's Fall 2013 Collection. The print is beautiful, featuring mythological stallions. The pairing of on trend white pumps by Alexander Wang work perfectly with the splashes of white on her separates. 

Knowles knows how to work bold prints to perfection. She somehow doesn't make it look over the top.  She has inspired 30% of my wardrobe. Like her, I am not afraid to go bold with prints.

Statement 'fro' in check.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE COLOUR, THE LITTLE SHORTS ARE SEXY BUT CLASSY, AND I AM DYING FOR THE MARNI PRINTED TOP. THE SUIT IS FRESH AND SUMMERY AND YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THE EDITION OF RHINESTONES THAT DIDN'T OVERSHADOW THE LOOK, BUT SUITABLE FOR TEXAS.

NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD METALLIC AND PATENT LEATHER SANDALS IS JUST THE DIAMOND OF THIS FABULOUS OUTFIT.
