Nicole Richie hosted VH1's 'You Oughta Know: Live Concert' in chilly NYC. 

Opting for a Balmain Pre-Fall 2014 military coat and Gianvito Rossi mules, Nicole looked edgy and a little moody. 

I love this on her, especially the top knot bun. Very cute and tough at the same time.

Nicole Richie joined other stars at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts Inaugural Gala in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The bronzed designer wore a sheer floral Dolce & Gabbana dress featuring gold crystals and sequins on the neckline. Adding a little sex appeal with black bra and underwear peaking underneath.

A fresh and simple look for Richie.

Shopping in New York on Thursday, Nicole Richie looked totally cool and effortless in black and white.

The designer's look is my kind of style. Her Balmain leather biker pants are so hot, the Mugler cropped asymmetrical blouse with high neck and overly long sleeves literally make my heart stop, but it's the addition of the Saint Laurent derby flats that is truly genius. While most starlets would find their highest heels, Nicole turns the tables. 

I would wear this look over and over. Classic yet modern and edgy.
